Paper & Poster instructions

Accepted manuscripts will appear in the conference proceedings only upon successful registration.

Final paper submission instructions

1. Prepare your final manuscript using the L4DC template for final paper submission, found here (ox.ac.uk) and here (easychair.org). (After signing in to EasyChair, please click this link again to be directed to the template). Make sure it includes in the header the Proceedings for Machine Learning Research (PMLR) volume number: 242.

2. For page limit, the same instructions with the initial paper submission apply (see below).

3. Download, fill in, and sign the PMLR publication agreement that can be found here (ox.ac.uk) and here (easychair.org).

4. Prepare a zip file named NameXXX.zip, where Name is the last name of the first author and XXX is the submission number. The zip file should include:

  • NameXXX.pdf: pdf of final version of the manuscript, with the same name convention
  • NameXXX_license.pdf: pdf file corresponding to the filled in and signed PMLR publication agreement form

5. The final zip file must be submitted through EasyChair. Please log in here (easychair.org), and click on the “view” icon next to your paper, then “update file” from the menu in the top right hand corner, then follow instructions to upload your .zip file. At this stage, minor editing of title and abstract is also possible. The final paper must be uploaded by May 20, 2024.

IMPORTANT: for the manuscript to be included in the PMLR Proceedings, at least one valid conference registration by one of the article authors is required. Please make sure that you have registered for the conference, before submitting the final zip file at EasyChair.

Note that when registering via Cvent you will be prompted to indicate the paper(s) ID for which you register.

With a single General registration up to 2 manuscripts can be uploaded; in that case place both paper IDs in the same field of Cvent, separated by comma. With a Student registration only 1 manuscript can be uploaded.

Poster Instructions

Please prepare your poster in A0 portrait, print it, and bring it with you. We will not be able to print posters on site.

It is important that you follow these poster preparation guidelines as our display frames allow posters to slide through sidebars and there will be no possibility of using pins. Moreover, it is best that posters are printed on paper rather than fabric, since fabric tends to slump in the frames.
